The girls of 2NE1 have done it again. The music video of Lonely has just been released and it truly has lived up to all the hype.

Set to scenes that match the title of the song, the dreary backdrops strengthen the melancholy tone of the lyrics. The song shows off each member’s amazing singing abilities, which is a rarity due to the usual rapping of CL and Minzy. Along with the singing of the two rappers of the group, we get to bask in the beautiful voices of Dara and Bom.

The music video starts with them at some sort of party, watching everyone around them have a good time while their stuck moving in slow motion. They walk out of the party and into the damp street singing of lost love and repeating “I’m sorry”. The girls each end up in a bare apartment, sitting on a bed and singing “I’m so lonely”.

Take a look for yourself and see what the girls of 2NE1 have cooked up for their fans.
